Job Title

This is a senior engineering role, responsible for leading the mechanical design of multi-million-dollar capital projects. You will provide technical leadership and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and constructability of mechanical systems.

About the Role:
  • Liaise with project teams to define project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed engineering deliverables: datasheets, equipment schedules, layouts, P&IDs, and specifications.
  • Manage and review work by junior engineers.
  • Support procurement by developing technical documentation, reviewing vendor submissions, and participating in evaluations.

About You:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering for infrastructure or process plant projects.
  • Strong background in heavy industry such as water treatment, mining, oil & gas, or large-scale construction.
  • Experience with pressure piping, pumping systems, chemical handling equipment, and materials selection for corrosive environments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
