**Position Overview**:
The **Rostering & Recruitment Coordinator** is a key role within Maree Care, responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process of support workers, coordinating their shifts, and ensuring that each support worker is suitably matched to the needs of our clients. This role requires a balance of organisational skills, knowledge of in-home aged care requirements, and a genuine care for both the clients we serve and the team members we hire.
**Recruitment & Hiring**:
- Manage the full recruitment process for support workers, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Ensure all hires meet Maree Care's standards for qualifications, experience, and values.
- Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements for support workers within the aged care sector.
**Onboarding**:
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring that new support workers are equipped with the necessary training and resources to provide exceptional care.
- Allocate trial shifts to new hires and gather feedback from members to assess the suitability of support workers.
**Rostering**:
- Develop and manage the roster for support services across all members, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Respond to last-minute roster changes or emergencies to ensure continuity of care.
**Feedback & Continuous Improvement**:
- Gather feedback from members on the performance of support workers and strive to continuously improve support worker-client matches.
- Work closely with team leaders and coordinators to ensure members' needs are met and exceeded.
**Support Worker Care**:
- Treat support workers with care and empathy, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Provide ongoing support and communication to ensure support workers feel valued and heard.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Proven experience in recruitment and/or rostering, ideally within the aged care or healthcare sector.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding.
**- Fantastic phone etiquette and clear English is essential**.
- Knowledge of in-home care and support worker requirements.
**Desirable**:
- Experience in handling rostering software or CRM systems.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability are key.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
