ATCO's Australian operations are headquartered in Perth, Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative, customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions. ATCO owns and operates Western Australia's largest gas distribution network with more than 750,000 connection points and 14,000km of pipelines. ATCO also operates two progressive power generation stations - in Adelaide and the Pilbara. These facilities collectively generate 266 megawatts of power, providing energy for thousands of public sector, domestic, industrial and commercial consumers across the country.

ATCO is looking for a Gas Distribution Officer with some experience in the Construction, Utilities and/or Energy Sector. Based from our Jandakot depot, this position is responsible for undertaking a range of activities associated with the gas distribution network in line with ATCO Gas Australia's Asset Management Plan.

**What you will contribute to**:

- Undertakes maintenance and construction activities associated with the gas distribution network in line with ATCO Gas Australia's Asset Management Plan and relevant policies and operational procedures.
- Operates machinery, equipment and tools in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure all relevant documentation associated with maintenance activities is completed correctly and within agreed timeframes.
- Undertakes inspections of gas distribution assets and records and reports any integrity, performance and functionality issues in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all relevant documentation associated with maintenance activities is completed correctly and within agreed timeframes.
- Provides advice to contractor personnel in relation to safe work practices and requirements in the field.
- Participates in the "24/7 On Call Roster" for the Maintenance team at nominated intervals throughout the business cycle

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the utilities and/or gas distribution sector (although not essential)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service.
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Class Drivers Licence or ability to gain MR Licence
- Western Australia Construction White Card / Blue Card.
- Certificate in Excavator Operation. (Desirable)
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate (Desirable)
