We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Gas Distribution Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and constructing our gas distribution network, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of gas to our customers.

  • Undertake routine maintenance and construction activities on the gas distribution network, including valves and end-of-line facilities.
  • Collect gas samples for analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Operate heavy machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of gas distribution assets and report any issues or concerns.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster for emergency response situations.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a utilities or related field.
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of gas distribution systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to remote locations.
