**Description**:
Purpose
The Program Manager will coach and mentor staff at the Stones Corner Direct Delivery site to achieve required program targets each month, oversee the program(s) and team, build a strong performance profile and foster strong relationships within the business. This is an on-site role, based at Stones Corner, Brisbane, Queensland, providing direct support to our Direct Delivery Pilot Site.
The Program Manager will utilise innovative program interventions to support a team of consultants to work with a cohort of disadvantaged jobseekers. This role is expected to create relationships with community stakeholders that support the needs of the program, manage the governance associated with expenditure through the employment fund, use wage subsidies appropriately and comply with funding guidelines.
This would be an excellent opportunity for a site manager looking for their next challenge. As the Program Manager of our Direct Delivery Team you will get the opportunity to lead our network through the piloting of new and innovative ways of service delivery, monitoring the effectiveness of different support programmes, and training, coaching and mentoring of consultants hired from outside of industry.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate and lead a well-organised approach to providing employment services to job seekers by maintaining knowledge of the local labour market, actively engaging employers and establishing stakeholder relationships
Provide supervision, direction and support to the team on an ongoing basis, being accountable for staff performance and management to meet Key Performance Indicators
Monitor performance reports on a regular basis, identifying achievements, areas of growth, and future objectives/targets in reports to the Operations Manager
Manage customer feedback including professionally resolving customer complaints as they arise
Ensure operational efficiency of the site, to include financial sustainability, funding compliance and appropriate use of employer incentives
Plan, coordinate and manage all administrative procedures and systems, including database management and internal/external reporting
Participate in the planning and execution of company events at Stones Corner
**Skills and Experiences**:
Required Experience
Demonstrated experience leading and managing high-performing teams in sales/business development environments
The ability to identify intervention solutions, mentor and coach alongside the Participant's dedicated Mentor to ensure Participants achieve sustainable employment (experience in employment or target-focused case management)
Demonstrated experience managing program requirements, working in complex compliant environments, and managing program budgets and expenditures
Demonstrated ability to identify and address issues that threaten employment placement success, monitoring the retention support practises delivered by the team, and identifying opportunities to improve conversion
Ability to direct team members in building employer, community and stakeholder relationships
Knowledge of local labour marketing conditions and opportunities
Strong computer literacy and database management
The ability to interact effectively with people across different cultures
Desirable Experience
Previous experience as a Site Manager in a Government Programme such as Job Services Australia, Disability Employment, CTA, Transition To Work or Workforce Australia. (Workforce Australia and DES are highly regarded)
Experience leading and developing a high performing multi-contract team
