You'll work directly with a CFO who wants to hand over the day-to-day and you'll have a hands-on, end-to-end finance role that's critical to the growth of the business.
What you'll be doing
Manage and report on project costs, WIP, and revenue accurately and proactively
Handle the month-end process: journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Provide AP/AR support when needed
Support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Ensure compliance and lodge everything on time (BAS, PRT, etc.)
Keep financial systems tidy and accurate (MYOB, Xero, and Odoo)
About you
You'll bring 3–5 years' experience in a well-rounded finance or management accounting role, with hands-on exposure to project accounting, work in progress, and revenue recognition.
You're CA or CPA qualified (or well on your way), and confident managing the full finance function with a practical, get-it-done approach.
You're someone who works with respect, values people, and leaves the ego at the door.
Bonus points if you've worked in manufacturing, construction, or other job-costed environments, but above all, you fit in with a down-to-earth team.
