Senior Principal Engineer
This role requires an individual with a deep engineering background in building solutions that facilitate success for builders. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other senior technical leaders to develop long-term architecture that is scalable and flexible enough to accommodate a diverse spectrum of builders.
An ideal candidate would be someone who is passionate about builder productivity and dedicated to delivering simple yet powerful solutions. Their past solutions should serve developers as well as non-developers through low-code or no-code toolsets, leveraging AI capabilities and applicable to various environments. This individual should also be fearless in experimenting and learning from failures.
In this role, you will shape the forward-looking technical direction and long-term architecture for the Ecosystem and Marketplace. You will work collaboratively with product, engineering, and design leaders to understand and influence broader department-level long-term strategy.
The technical strategy must align with the technical strategy of products and platforms. You will partner with principal engineers and architects from other teams to drive exploration of large-scale projects spanning multiple teams in Enterprise.
You will provide pragmatic and balanced advice on investing in long-term architecture while maintaining high-quality services for current systems. You will improve software construction quality and meaningful code reviews in agile environments.
As a role model and mentor, you will guide engineers across various seniority levels, including grads to principal engineers. You will define and revise operational excellence standards within the organization.
You will mentor, hire, and develop other engineers to ensure the team's growth and success.
