Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, construction, and maintenance of dams and water infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of dam operations and equipment integration.
Responsibilities will include inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams, as well as providing construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for preparing tenders and proposals, and providing mentoring to junior engineers.
Key Qualifications
Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A positive attitude, seeing challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and grow.
Able to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and local industry.
