The Vessel Master is responsible for navigation, crew leadership, safety drills, and management systems as well as reporting requirements.
Clear communication, physical fitness, and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines are paramount in the role.
SeaLink NT is seeking a local Master for weekly shifts - 4-6 shifts per week.
As the positions are based in Darwin, the successful candidate will need to be based locally.
About You We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and proven leadership skills to join our marine crew.
These attributes will be complemented by experience and skills in the following areas:AMSA issued Master V (24m NC) /MED 2 certificationsProven track record of excellent customer serviceEffective communication and leadership skillsKnowledge of safety and maritime obligationsSenior First Aid Drivers Licence/Ochre Card/Police ClearancePhysical fitness and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines is paramount in this roleExperience in the tourism industry will be well regardedHow to Apply Click APPLY and fill in as much information as you can in the track record section of the application, paying close attention to each question.
