**Our client is a successful, highly respected local Architecture Studio based in Newcastle, NSW. They are currently looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic Receptionist.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This permanent, full-time Receptionist role is a key customer facing position. The successful applicant will possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, to enable them to effectively support internal as well as external clients.

**The main responsibilities of this role include**:

- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude and attentive customer service approach
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and manage various conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Provide administrative support incl. data entry, system maintenance, printing, scanning, photocopying, filing, binding, shredding and keeping the reception area neat and tidy
- Use own knowledge of MS Office products, assist with invoicing and setting up or tracking online projects
- Maintain IT register and assist to IT Manager, QA Manager and WHS Manager when required
- Support engagement activities incl. internal and external functions, events, booking rooms, managing catering and office orders as required
- Actively support and build solid, long-term relationships with various internal as well as external stakeholders, while representing the organisational values and brand

**ABOUT YOU**
- Certificate II or III in Business Administration or other relevant qualification in business or administration is highly regarded
- At least 1+ year of customer service experience
- Proficient English knowledge with an excellent oral and written communication skills, having the ability to adapt to various audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently
- Ability to problem solve and manage conflicting priorities, solid time and deadline management
- High attention to detail with precise data entry skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to take direction and work under pressure
- Active Driver's Licence - occasional car shuffling is required
