Nextt is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager, a true people leader who is driven by delivering an outstanding customer service to our clients and Support Work teams. You'll lead the Scheduling Function, the heart of our specialist services, providing support, guidance, and leadership to a team of unsung heroes. You'll possess excellent people leadership, have experience in scheduling and workforce management, and be a motivator of the delivery and maintenance of key objectives.
We have a hybrid working model here in Melbourne, based out of our purpose-built office in the CBD. You'll have access to a good-sized gym, showering facilities and a rooftop garden BBQ for the sunny days here in Melbourne

**The opportunity**:
Reporting into the Head of Central Services, your key focus will be leading a team of skilled Schedulers and Team Leaders whose primary focus is to provide the best customer service to its staff and clients, ensuring we match the right Support Worker, to the right Client, on time.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide hands on support and leadership to the Scheduling team, building and fostering a high performing team who deliver exceptional customer service and deliver on their functional KPIs.
- Monitor and drive KPIs including time to first shift, shift cancellations, utilisation and Overtime.
- Develop and implement scheduling strategies to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Liaise with clients, support workers, and other stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and clear communication.
- Ensure scheduling practices align to the modern SCHADS award and best practice rostering guidelines.
- Manage and resolve escalated issues in a timely and solutions-focused manner.
**To be successful as a Scheduling Manager, we ask that you have**:
- Minimum of three years leadership and management experience, ideally within a scheduling or Workforce environment.
- Experience providing effective leadership and managing performance issues.
- Solid understanding of NDIS regulations and the disability support sector.
- A KPI-driven mindset with experience in monitoring and achieving performance targets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to navigate difficult conversations.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and tools is desirable.
