The purpose of this role is to support the Trading Directors within the business, tasked with assisting Directors in managing day to day relationships with media partners and to work with account teams to support the delivery of best-in-class campaigns.

Due to growth, we are on the lookout for a Client Manager to join the dentsu QLD team.
What your typical day will look like:
As the Client Manager, you will support the Client Director for the Tourism & Events Queensland with a strong implementational and activation lean towards planning & buying across offline and online media.
In this role, you will live and breathe supporting the broader Tourism Industry and be the client-facing go-to in day-to-day management across each of our client teams. You will be in the core TEQ team and manage the day-to-day client relationship and overall team output and delivery with a strong connection to peers within the wider client tam.
Core responsibilities include:
- You will have a primary focus on supporting the client director in translating media strategy into channel planning framework, budget allocation, channel selection and role of channel
- Elevate the above with a robust implementational understanding to talk to the broader media mix and can have clear and decisive conversations across all channels (offline and digital)
- Lead the support in terms of client administration including WIPs, Contact reports and timeline management.
- You will have a primary focus on best-in-class media planning and media plan creation briefing and negotiating recommendations (with full channel view) with appropriate levels of proprietary and industry tools.
- Lead the execution of these plans into the relevant teams (Master Media Buying Agency & your own internal team) ensuring that the integrity of the approach is maintained and delivered.
- You will support in the coaching, development, and workflow management of Junior team members, championing best practice and paving the way for future media leader
A bit about you:
- You are agile in your ways of working and can pivot and prioritise between key critical tasks.
- Solid planning experience with a generalist understanding of brand planning industry best practices and points of view and the ability to use agency proprietary and industry tools for recommendations.
- Strong presentation skills translating and owning end-to-end delivery of implementational planning & investment recommendations
- Exceptional media partner relationships and ability to engage and adhere to dentsu QLD's Media Partner engagement approach to drive the best outcomes for your client
- First class client service skills with the ability to gain trust and confidence as well as project management end-to-end campaigns across offline & digital media
- Robust Media Landscape understanding and point of view always continuing to learn and be inquisitive
- You will have a lean into implementational planning and the ability to activate supporting your junior team members in the optimising and delivery of this media
- You will have proven experience in supporting junior team members in training and teaching and the ability to build meaningful connections
- You will support and build the dentsu QLD profile in the market contributing to industry initiatives, thought leadership and industry events.
