i=Change ( is a technology platform that makes it simple and valuable for businesses to give back to NGOs, which builds impact into a brand's customer journey and drives engagement, conversions and loyalty. Working with some of Australia's largest retailers, i=Change is uniquely bridging the worlds of business and the NGO (charitable) sector, and leading a purpose-driven business movement.
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving significant growth by identifying, engaging, and securing new medium-to-enterprise partnerships with businesses - with a focus on retail if these are your networks. This is a hunter role for a strategic go-getter who is passionate about closing deals, which creates positive impact for the business itself - and our NGO partners.
If your network includes digital agencies and tech providers, and you have retail media sales experience, or understand the space, this can be a full-time role. KPIs would include results from developing and nurturing strategic partnerships as one-to-many opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: New Business Acquisition
Own the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead generation to platform demos, negotiation, and closing new retail partnerships.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners, leveraging your network and market research to identify opportunities.
Effectively communicate our value proposition through compelling proposals and presentations to key decision-makers.
Respond to and convert inbound leads while proactively generating your own. You will become a product expert and the first point of contact for new business.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing and Tech teams to refine our sales strategy and product awareness.
Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Sales Strategy and Processes
Identify opportunities - and roadblocks - to drive new business from conception through closure.
Identify new opportunities to maximize revenue and impact
Help improve and implement sales processes and go to market strategies
Manage deals, sales and conversion processes in Hubspot and be responsible for maintaining an updated CRM
