Cafe Supervisor

**About the Role**

We are seeking expressions of interest for a Café supervisor for our recently refurbished cafés which has a long-term loyal customer base. Working Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1530 with the occasional weekends for special functions, giving you the right family and work balance. You will be rostered 38 hours a week - very little to no O/T.

**About you**
- Great customer service and supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 2-3 years hospitality experience.
- Authentic, bubbly and energetic personality.
- Barista experience.
- Sound computer skills Microsoft Office Suite, Lightspeed and Deputy.
- Open and willing to learn.
- You love to lead by example and pass on your knowledge and experience.
- Passionate about the customer experience.
- Has initiative and shows great teamwork.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Strong, clear communication skills.
- Driving license and own transport.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Cafés and Functions, with emphasis on team, resident, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide leadership, support, motivation, and development to the team creating a positive environment that encourages ownership, accountability and delivers a quality food and service experience.
- Provide consistently friendly, attentive, and compassionate customer service to all customers.
- Ensure safe work practices are carried out within the food safety, health, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Lead a culture of service excellence and information sharing.
- Lead a culture of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
- Maintain a front of house presence and engagement with customers.
- Model high standards of performance and behaviour

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required**
- At least 2 years' experience in supervising or managing a café.
- Experience as a barista.
- Motivated to bring joy to your customers and driven to always improve.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Strong people management experience with a track record of developing and retaining personnel.
- Versatile and personable professional willing to engage with colleagues and customers.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Sound computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, Lightspeed and Deputy
- Great communication skills.
- Knowledge of WHS and food safety regulations.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- RSA
- Must have a visa with full Australian working rights for 38 hours per week.
