AV is seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Coordinator to support our Operational Logistics Department.

This is a full time, permanent position currently based in Ballarat.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Lead Fleet Operations, and providing day-to-day coordination of the deployment, maintenance and support of fleet to meet organisational needs, the responsibilities of the Fleet Operations Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

- Manage all aspects relating to the day-to-day operation of fleet maintenance facilities
- Develop reports from the Fleet Management System on all aspects of Fleet for senior management
- Coordinate the implementation of fleet operations programs including risk management and budgets
- Manage the performance within the Fleet Department to ensure optimal service provision to AV
- Act as the first point of contact for the fleet maintenance personnel and assist Fleet Maintenance Supervisors with employee issues across all workshops

**ABOUT YOU**

To be considered for this position you will possess:

- Completion of relevant industry certification, preferably in transport management with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
- Technical qualification in Automotive (Certificate 3 or similar) is desirable
- Solid experience in fleet management, service scheduling and maintenance program management
- Demonstrated knowledge of State and National Vehicle Safety Standards and OH&S requirements
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to enable the identification of issues and the judgement to determine appropriate courses of action for achieving long-range organisational goals
- Leadership skills to manage and develop others to achieve organisational goals and objectives

This position is graded an **AV4** under the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement AVMA.
