**About the role**

We are looking for well-presented Motel Receptionist for a motel in Summer Hill, Sydney NSW.

Local High school graduates and university students are welcome to apply.

**Responsibilities**:
**Requirements**:

- Proficient in English (oral and written), additional language will be a plus;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word);
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc);
- Knowledge of office skills
- Strong communication and people skills;
- Good organisational and multi-tasking abilities;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Reliable, efficient and punctual;
- Passion,confident,honest;
- Customer service orientation - a smile and willingness to please customer;
**Basic requirements**:

- Keep the front desk tidy, clean and presentable;
- Greet and Welcome guests, in person or on the telephone;
- Answering questions or Referring inquiries or Address complaints;
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages;
- Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc;
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary;
- Keep updated booking records and files;
- Scheduling appointments;
- Monitoring Log book; following management procedures;
- Opening and closing the establishment;
- Room Reservation and assignment;
- Guest registration, verifying identification and check in, cashier work,create room keys;
- Advise housekeeping staff to handle tasks when rooms are vacated;

The successful applicant must be available to work rotating shifts,weekends, and public holidays.

Ability and desire to anticipate, recognise, meet others' needs and also take up other duties as assigned;
Note: 5 min walk from Taverners Hill light rail and Summer Hill train station. Bus stop across the road.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
