OUR MOTEL

Town & Country Motel is looking for a special someone with excellent customer service to join our front office team on a casual basis. We have 47 rooms and a conference space.

YOUR MISSION

Our front office receptionist is a key position and the first point of call for our guests when they arrive. You will be checking guests in and out, handling enquiries from in house guests and helping to maintain our motel front office. You will be an authority of local knowledge to help every guest get the most out of their stay.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check-in and check-out all guests
- Greet and liaise with guests as they check-in
- Manage guest bookings and reservations
- Answering phones with a professional telephone manner
- Respond to requests and handle complaints professionally
- Keep the front desk clean & tidy at all times
- Create and maintain computer and paper-based filing systems for records
- Provide general administration support
- Maintain and reconcile guest accounts

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to manage tasks simultaneously
- You will be an organized individual with a high attention to detail
- Strong PC skills, ability to use word, GuestPoint and booking agents
- Solid verbal and written skills
- Have a good work ethic and be of professional appearance
- Previous lived experience is preferred

This is a casual position with shifts between 8am to 8pm, however you are expected to stay later if required. Must be flexible to cover holidays, work weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
