Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to join our growing team
**About the Venue**
- Three Blue Ducks Rosebery is a unique venue located in a historic industrial warehouse, its true rustic history comes alive in the exposed beams, super high ceilings, stripped-back brick walls and concrete floors, while the whitewashed walls and hanging chandeliers and plants add colour and warmth to the industrial space. The venue has been carefully designed to reflect the industrial look of the Cannery with a modern twist that perfectly caters to signature-styled events and parties.
- We are looking for a Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our talented team based in our Rosebery Venue and Head office. You will be working closely with the Event Managers and Senior Event Manager.
- This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual who is passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to make an impact. As the Wedding and Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in orchestrating memorable events at our renowned venues, collaborating with a talented team, and contributing to our commitment to exceptional service.
- You will inspire and motivate the service team and ensure every customer leaves with a smile on their face. You will be responsible for the events from conception through to event day, ensuring the team are suitably organised, working in unison and rostered appropriately
**Responsibilities**
- Manage events from post-sale through to execution, ensuring seamless planning and delivery. Our Events range include Weddings, corporate events, section bookouts, offsite catering and many more
- Onsite event coordination both prior to the event and during the event, with a detailed handover to our restaurant team
- Conduct site tours and provide detailed information about our venue and services
- Report to Senior Event Manager for all event related matters
- Possess exceptional customer service with an impeccable eye for detail
- Timely and accurate distribution of all events related information to internal and external parties
- Have excellent communication with clients to build repeat business
- Building and maintaining relationships executes a consistent level of high-quality service to customers and responds in a timely manner to enquiries
- Working closely, and in conjunction with, the Senior Events Manager, Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to ensure that all aspects of events have been cost effective, established, and serve both the client and business' needs Provide feedback on creative ideas and actively promote our venues to the event and wedding markets.**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role; prior experience in wedding, corporate, or social coordination is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated drive and determination to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A natural problem solver, with an ability to offer creative and elegant solutions
- Proficient in managing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Warm and welcoming presence with a genuine approach to client interaction.
- Highly motivated with a keen attention to detail.
- Passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry
- Available to work weekends during peak periods
