Grain Trader Career Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and analytical professional to support our trading team in executing and managing grain purchases and sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in agricultural markets, keen attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the fundamentals of commodity trading.
Main Responsibilities:
Support senior traders in executing domestic and/or international grain trades
Monitor commodity markets, supply and demand trends, and pricing developments
Coordinate logistics, including freight booking, shipping schedules, and documentation
Maintain and update trading systems, positions, and records
BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS, BUYERS, BROKERS, AND INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS
Analyze historical data and provide market reports to inform trading decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
0–2 years of experience in commodities, agriculture, or logistics preferred
Cheerful person with good communication skills
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with trading platforms is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
