Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Grain Trader to support our trading team in executing and managing grain purchases and sales.

This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to build a long-term career in grain trading within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist senior traders in executing domestic and/or international grain trades (pulses, beans, legumes, wheat, oil seeds etc.)Monitor commodity markets, supply and demand trends, and pricing developmentsSupport logistics coordination, including freight booking, shipping schedules, and documentationMaintain and update trading systems, positions, and recordsBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, brokers, and internal stakeholdersAnalyze historical data and provide market reports to help inform trading decisionsEnsure compliance with company policies and relevant trading regulationsParticipate in internal meetings, market briefings, and trading strategy sessionsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field0–2 years of experience in commodities, agriculture, or logistics preferredCheerful person with good phone etiquette.Strong analytical and numerical skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with trading platforms is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentEagerness to learn and a proactive attitudeDesirable Skills: Knowledge of grain markets and agricultural supply chainsUnderstanding of futures, hedging, and risk management principles#J-18808-Ljbffr
