**About the role**

We are looking for a proactive Accountability and Controls Enablement Specialist to drive the embedment and continuous improvement of the Group Accountability Framework and other uplifts being developed through RACQ's Risk Transformation Program. This role will lead compliance efforts with regulatory requirements while promoting accountability, transparency, and ethical conduct across RACQ. You will enhance risk intelligence and control management practices, fostering consistency and capability uplift across the Group.
- Establishing and leading a Community of Practice with Risk and Compliance Control Enablement (RCCE) teams across RACQ.
- Oversight, assurance and administration to support compliance with relevant legislation and regulation related to Regulatory Accountability.
- Controls design, implementation, testing and assurance.
- Oversight and guidance of process modelling and management for processes that support critical operations.
- Reviewing and uplifting frameworks, policies, procedures and supporting materials related to the above.
- Regular interaction with GEX and their leadership teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing education, support and advice to stakeholders as required including maintenance of SharePoint resources.

**About you**

You are a results-driven professional with extensive experience in designing, implementing, testing, and reporting on effective controls assurance and governance frameworks, while using exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Law, Risk Management, Compliance, or ESG, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in complex environments.
- Expertise in risk management, legal, compliance, controls assurance, and governance, driving business success.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations, corporate governance, and the Australian regulatory environment.
- Sharp analytical skills and a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proven track record of leading initiatives, taking full ownership, and delivering impactful results while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
