About This Role:
- Process and reconcile daily customer payments accurately.
- Regularly review debtor accounts and flag potential risks.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices proactively while preserving strong customer relationships.
- Manage credit applications and conduct reference checks.
- Set up new customer accounts following credit approval.
- Evaluate credit limits periodically and make recommendations.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and manage a shared collections inbox.
- Maintain accurate financial data and ensure confidentiality of customer information.
- Work closely with sales account managers to provide actionable customer activity reports.
- Assist with improving systems and streamlining credit processes.
About You:
- At least 2 years' experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
- Familiarity with Pronto ERP.
- Solid knowledge of customer account processes and credit control principles.
- Certificate IV in Accounting (or equivalent qualification) is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with experience compiling reports and interpreting financial data.
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
- A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
