**How will I help?**
As a Manager, BCM, you will be responsible for implementing and ensuring adherence to risk management frameworks, policies, and controls in the Cash and Transactional Banking (C&TB) Line of Business (LOB), as well as regulatory obligations and the Westpac Group Risk appetite.
You will support CT&B stakeholders to deliver quality products and outcomes to its customers by ensuring effective risk and compliance management across the C&TB value chains. This includes supporting the implementation and management of Risk, implementing improved controls, Control Self-Assessment testing, providing risk and compliance expertise and collaboration across the value chain, as well as assisting in embedding Value chain risk management and Risk in change practices.
Further key responsibilities include:
- Assist in identifying, documenting, and assessing risks and controls to drive a strong risk and controls culture
- Input into quarterly risk profile refresh including presenting a review of triggers and risk assessments
- Identify risk drivers and root causes, as well as supporting plans to address any out of appetite risks
- Assist in identifying common controls across the line of business/value chain that can be standardised/centralised or automated
- Assess control testing activity, results, and actions/impact, and identify opportunities for enhancement/streamlining
- Support Senior Managers in providing effective risk expertise across various risk management activities
- Act as a conduit into the BCM Squads across C&TB, working in partnership to ensure alignmentKeep second line risk informed, capture, and incorporate their feedback

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you must be an experienced Banking risk professional with at least 3 years of experience in Operational Risk, 1 st line risk, or Audit.

- Be proactive, organised and outcomes focussed
- Adaptable and the ability to think strategically and be innovative
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to demonstrate long term relationship building skillsFacilitation and business case building skills is advantageous
