As the league enters its next growth opportunity, the NBL Replay Centre will become a multidisciplinary hub for the management of the performance of its players and officials.
**_The Role_**
As our
**Technical Official - Statistician**, you will be responsible for accurately recording all actions of both teams during every game, as well as facilitating communications between the Replay Centre and Technical Officials in the venue.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent knowledge of the game, be quick and accurate in your reporting & communications, and have impeccable rapport building skills to ensure efficiency during each game.
This role will be located in the
**NBL Replay Centre in Melbourne**, we have a handful of openings available during the season to those with a passion for the game and attention-to-detail.
**_Key Responsibilities_**
- Accurately capture and record all statistics during live play of NBL games using the software programs provided.
- Facilitate communications with Technical Officials in venue with regards to (but not limited to) Coach's Challenges and Referee Reviews.
- Ensure the accuracy and validity of all match statistics within the designated timeframe post-game.
- Assist in the development of/changes to procedures to ensure the smooth implementation of statistical information with the current roles of Technical Officials.
- Collaborate with Replay Centre and Broadcast staff to ensure that all information gathered is consistent and accurate.
**_About You_**
- Minimum 3 seasons performing statistics at NBL level.
- Experience with recording accurate statistics using FIBA Live Stats software.
- Proven track record calling a game with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- People person who thrives in fast-paced, challenging environments.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
