We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our Public Law Team as a Senior Legal Advisor.
This exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual who can provide technically outstanding legal advice and practical, evidence-based solutions to high-level government officials on key civil and criminal law and justice issues.
You will deliver sensitive legal advice, particularly in relation to public law matters, and develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical, legal and conceptual skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert legal advice to senior government officials
- Provide technically excellent and risk-based legal advice
- Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders
- Advise on time-sensitive legal matters
Requirements
- Proven experience in providing high-quality legal advice
- Sound analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities
