Opportunity for an AO3 Business Support Officer on Brisbane's northside

**Your new company**

Is a business unit of a large state government department that uses their world-class maritime simulator and training facility to focus on pilotage professional training and development, advanced ship handling and port development. They have customers coming here from all over Australiasia.

**Your new role**

Will be a part of a small team that delivers maritime simulation services to customers both from Australia and internationally. You will be supporting the Director and Principal Instructor on customer-facing work. Accountabilities for the role will include:

- Operation of the front desk
- Check in of customers
- Provision of general customer assistance
- Support for courses such as collating study material and classroom set up
- Compilation of customer reports
- Maintenance of their Student Management System
- Issuing of certificates
- Assist with accounting and procurement activities
- Liaison and co-ordination with caterers

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Customer centricity
- Strong organisational skills to ensure timelines are me
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sound computer literacy using Microsoft 365
- Experience using SAP
