You will place a strong focus on market penetration through sales leads and business development strategies to ensure the capture of new customers.
Your strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships along with your strong time management will be key to your success.What we would like you to bringMain responsibilities:To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.To align your sales efforts with the National Sales and Marketing Manager, pricing + business development teams, including pricing decisions.To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.To report customer feedback to the customer service teams, supporting resolutions as required.To align with colleagues when onboarding new customers.To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.To regularly review customer portfolios with the National Sales and Marketing manager.To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with other teamsRequirements:Minimum 7–10 years in business development, sales, or account management from a freight forwarding or 3PL companyProven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growthStrong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distributionAbility to analyze market trends and develop long-term business strategiesExperience leading commercial negotiations and creating high-quality business proposalsAbility to manage a sizeable pipeline and drive opportunities through the full customer engagement cycleSkilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to collaborate across global, regional, and country-level teamsExceptional public speaking, negotiation, and written communication skillsComfortable presenting to senior leadership and clientsProficiency in CRM systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office SuiteSelf-motivated, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business growthStrong time management and ability to work autonomouslyWhat's in it for youAlong with a competitive remuneration package, we want to make sure our employees are motivated in all aspects.
