Support Worker Co is a leading Support Worker Agency that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to Disability Service providers.

We are currently partnered with several highly regarding Disability Providers that provide SIL services for children & adults with a range of disabilities and needs.

We have plenty of exciting opportunities with immediate starts, which pay and treat you better than other agency work does, providing you the right pay and terms and conditions you deserve, such as overtime penalties, weekend and weekday shift loadings paid per the industry award.

**Overview of the role**:

- Provide day-to-day support for children & adults living in SIL arrangements and help them improve their independence and achieve their goals.
- 24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts - morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm), overnight (predominately sleep overs)
- Combination of short & long shifts (3 hour minimum)
- Assist participants with a range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, using manual handling equipment, domestic & meal assistance.
- Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP)
- Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
- Support people within both group settings and 2-on-1 arrangements.
- Use a company to transport participants to community-based outings.

**What you need**:

- Demonstrated experience working as a Disability Support Worker
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)
- Australian Driver's License (minimum P2)
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Medication Training (or willing to complete a course)
- MAPA Training
- Manual Handling Training (or willing to complete a course)
- Safe Environments for Children and Young People - "Through their Eyes" (or willing to complete a course)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Working with Children Check (paid employment)
- Up to date with your COVID19 vaccinations
- Reliable smart phone with data
