**Quick overview of the role**
We are seeking a full-time Continuous Improvement Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the implementation of the NEMASYS across the business (lean manufacturing business methodology based on WCM). The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for engaging with providers and/or creating own training material, and planning training classes and coaching activities of lean manufacturing concepts and tools. This position will engage with industrial projects bringing inputs to the changes and support the organization in critical improvements initiatives.
**What will you be doing?**
- Develop strategies, plans and actions for the organization to implement NEMASYS
- Lead lean manufacturing program / NEMASYS roll out program, pillars, and activities
- Lead improvement activities on the shopfloor and business frontline - including the 5S follow up systems
- Engage with the identification of opportunities for improvement as well as identifying losses
- Implement key improvement projects
- Measure, report and communicate on the CI progress
- Provide mentorship and support to the organisation
- Develop short
- and long-term strategies for the organisation and incorporating Six Sigma, Agile, and other practices. The goal is to facilitate progress and reduce costs, both in terms of production and workflow inefficiencies.
- Monitor progress in order to check if changes bring desirable results. Establish measurable standards at the start of a project and then compare actual project results against these, regularly generating detailed update reports for management.
- Provide Mentorship through coaching, coordination of workshops and team training sessions
- Bachelor or Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or related field
- Ideally with Lean manufacturing system experience incl. World Class Manufacturing
- 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, quality assurance or similar role
- Demonstrated leadership and guidance to support staff and business objectives
- Ability to coordinate and lead key projects
- Ability to report and analyse data to produce positive outcomes and progression
- Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing/work class manufacturing highly regarded
- Innovative thinker
- Highly organised, team player with excellent communication skills
