The Workplace Team Leader will be responsible for supporting a wide range of activities that encompass the many aspects of a busy professional services consultancy. As the first line of contact and support for the business, this role requires a flexible, hands-on, confident individual who can perform well in a busy corporate environment.
**What you'll do**:
This role covers a wide range of activities that help our business function day-to-day. It includes but is not limited to:
- People management - supporting the Workplace team
- Premise management - work with the tenancy as required
- Front of house services - maintaining a first-class experience for clients, guests and visitors
- Motor vehicles - working with the travel manager and pooled vehicles as required
- Security - managing internal and tenancy related security matters from access cards to alarms
- Safety, Health, Environment, Quality - ensuring all aspects of our SHEQ programs are supported
- Procurement - Maintenance and purchase of general operating stationery, office equipment and supplies
- Office fit out and relocation - Work with Workplace Manager on Sydney head office fit out and relocation
- Finance - Assist the Workplace Manager in monitoring and managing Capex and Opex costs to meet budget
**About you**:
Qualifications relevant to the position (or relevant experience):
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with a large organisation desirable,
- Professional presentation
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A demonstrated commitment to providing quality service and work
- Previous experience working on office fit out and relocation projects
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A proactive and enthusiastic team player
- A self-starter who can work independently
- Adherence to the requirements of WSP systems as set out in the company policies, manuals, procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure duties are performed in a professional and timely manner.
- Demonstrate adherence to confidentiality requirements and maintain a high level of ethical behaviour
