Laundy Hotels is currently seeking an exceptional Leader with restaurant or gastro-pub experience to join our dedicated team at Woolwich Pier Hotel.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:

- **Strategic Growth**: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the hotel's brand and revenue, leveraging marketing initiatives and exceptional food and beverage offerings.

- **Mentorship**: Mentor and develop your management team, fostering their growth and upskilling to build a high-performing team.
- **Culture Building**: Cultivate a positive venue culture and promote team cohesion to ensure a collaborative work environment.
- **Cost Management**: Efficiently manage workforce labour costs and rostering, balancing business needs with compliance requirements.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Group Marketing Manager and Group Executive Chef to implement and manage in-venue promotions and activations that drive business results.
- **Compliance**: Oversee and ensure adherence to licensing requirements and regulations.
- **Stock Management**: Utilise your expertise in stock management and control to achieve successful outcomes.
- **Event Management**: Drive the planning and execution of events to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Demonstrated 2 years Venue management experience.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or gastro-pub setting is essential.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of effectively guiding and motivating teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in hospitality, including food, beverage, and event management.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and exceptional service.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse financial performance, and drive profitability.
- A demonstrated understanding of industry-related technology systems
- Ability to troubleshoot in a demanding environment
- Experience in rostering and managing a team of approximately 30-40 members.
- RSA/RCG certification and the capability to hold a hotelier's license.
