Pleasure Club is a vibrant late-night venue located in the heart of Newtown. Known for live entertainment and unique cocktails, we are now seeking an energetic and experienced Venue Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and entertainment who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for leading compliance, cultivating a strong team culture, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. Your background in managing late-night venues, with a focus on compliance and live entertainment, will be key to your success.

**Skills, responsibilities & experience**
- Lead and inspire the existing team, ensuring a positive and productive environment
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to meet service standards.
- Manage the staff rosters and ensure that wage budgets are met
- Maintain exceptional service standards, delivering memorable guest experiences
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues swiftly and professionally
- Manage venue closures to the compliance requirements
- Manage special events in collaboration with the HQ team
- Maintain venue presentation and maintenance to the highest standards
- Manage liquor compliance on shift by following established processes and managing the security contractor
- Regularly inspect the venue for health and safety compliance
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Manage inventory via collaboration with the Group Beverage Manager and inventory consultants
- Deliver on the prescribed budget KPIs for wages, GP, and expenses

**You will bring**:

- At least 2 years experience in leading a team in a high-volume venue
- Experience in liquor compliance in a late-night environment managing ATL, failure to quit, and other processes
- An understanding of the relationships between the venue, regulatory bodies, and the police
- Managing a team and providing leadership, inspiration and motivation
- A desire to train your team and pass on your industry knowledge and experience
- Genuine passion for hospitality, live entertainment, and cocktails.
- Experience managing inventory and overseeing stock control
- The ability to meet and exceed financial targets
