Our flagship at The Rocks is an icon, pumping out large covers a week and hosting 800+ guests on a single Saturday.
It's a high-volume, high-profile beast that needs a confident and charismatic Venue Manager to keep the fiesta running at full speed.
This role reports directly into the Precinct Manager and is part of Hunter St. Hospitality, a national group with 40+ leading venues across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and beyond.
You'll enjoy the scale and resources of a national powerhouse, while driving the energy, performance, and culture of one of Sydney's most talked-about venues.

The Opportunity This is a role for a big-picture operator who thrives in scale and speed.As Venue Manager, you'll: Lead the FOH and BOH teams to deliver seamless, high-energy guest experiences.
Drive commercial performance through cost control, labour management, and revenue growth.
Recruit, train, and develop a large, diverse team creating a culture of fun, accountability, and excellence.
Partner with your Head Chef and Precinct Manager to keep service, food quality, and operations sharp.
Oversee major bookings, precinct activations, and large-scale events.
Ensure compliance, safety, and operational standards meet both group and regulatory requirements.
About You You're a seasoned hospitality leader who knows how to command a high-volume venue, balance the books, and inspire large teams.
You lead with confidence, bring energy to the floor, and keep a cool head in high-pressure environments.
We're looking for someone with: Senior Venue Manager or General Manager experience in a high-volume venue (400+ capacity) Strong commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, COGs, labour management, revenue targets Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and retaining large teams A leadership style that balances professionalism with personality The ability to manage pressure with calm confidence Valid RSA certification If you're ready to lead one of Sydney's busiest and boldest venues and thrive in a group that values growth, energy, and excellence, apply now and become part of the El Camino fiesta.
