This role involves developing Victoria's positions on NDIS legislative issues, supporting intergovernmental engagement, and analyzing draft policies and legislative amendments in collaboration with legal teams.The position also handles responses to recommendations from the NDIS Review and Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability, coordinating briefing processes for the Disability Reform Ministerial Council, and managing a small team.
The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders across government and jurisdictions, and involves strategic analysis, negotiation, and influence.Accountabilities IncludeOverseeing projects to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.Providing leadership and advice to stakeholders, and preparing reports and briefs on complex matters.Identifying emerging issues, risks, and trends, and providing research-based recommendations.How To ApplyPlease read the full position description.
