Workforce Optimisation Manager

Reporting to the Head of People, you will have accountability for the design and delivery of the workforce optimisation strategy for Country Road Group retail. This is a critical role that will provide the business with crucial data to inform how we get the best from our people at the right times. Leading a team of workforce management specialists, you will:

- Build the strategic direction of how the platform is best used across the organisation
- Design requirements and test process documentation, with the user experience in mind
- Ensure award and enterprise agreement configuration compliance (e.g. GRIA)
- Implement and monitor roster compliance/efficiency to ensure adherence with minimum standards
- With the support of your team, build capability in Dayforce usability across teams
- Partner with key internal stakeholders in IT/Payroll/People/Retail
- Identify and act on business impacts/opportunities and planning
- Analyse, interpret and advise on best practice in relation to roster data

With a hybrid mix of in the office and at home, we are looking for an individual who can partner with and educate business leaders on best in class workforce optimization, along with:

- Strong understanding of workforce management principles and practices including R&S, T&A, budgeting, forecasting and analytics
- Experience with WFM/Payroll systems
- Multi-locational and medium - large scale workforce planning/rostering
- Understanding/appreciation of industry awards
- Experienced in building efficient and profitable rosters
- Proven ability to influence decision making
- Ability to manage through complexity and ambiguity
