In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia are currently seeking a **Food & Beverage Coordinator** to join the team in our Spectra Café at Fishermans Bend in Port Melbourne.

This is a Monday to Friday role working from 7am - 3pm with no weekends or late nights.

**Duties & responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Head Chef/Manager in all aspects of the operation, including but not limited to Kitchen, front of house, administration, and OH&S duties
- Delivering a friendly, helpful, and professional service to all customers
- Assist with basic food preparation, as requested by the Head Chef

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
- Minimum of 2 years' experience supervising food and beverage service
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP, and relevant legislation and statutory obligations
- Accreditation/courses/s - Basic Food Handling course - preferable, training available
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
