Our Geelong South centre caters to a broad client base-from family vehicles to commercial fleets-and we pride ourselves on fast, honest, and reliable workmanship.We're now looking for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our professional service team and deliver high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a range of vehicles.Position: Motor Mechanic (General) - Full-TimeTrading Name: Bridgestone Select Geelong SouthYour ResponsibilitiesAs our new Motor Mechanic, your day-to-day tasks will include:Conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on petrol and diesel vehiclesDiagnosing faults using electronic and manual diagnostic toolsInspecting and overhauling engines, gearboxes, brake systems, and suspension componentsPerforming roadworthy checks, safety inspections, and compliance testingReplacing worn or damaged parts, including clutches, timing belts, water pumps, and batteriesCarrying out tyre rotations, balancing, and alignments (training provided if required)Completing service reports, updating job cards, and maintaining accurate service recordsWorking safely in line with occupational health and safety (OHS) standardsAssisting team members and delivering great service to customers and fleet accountsSkills & Experience RequiredTo be successful in this role, you should have:Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)At least 3years' post-qualification experience as a Motor MechanicSolid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems in light vehiclesFamiliarity with diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipmentHigh attention to detail and commitment to safety and service qualityApply TodayIf you're a motivated and experienced Motor Mechanic ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
