The Communications Lead will manage the delivery of strategy, digital content, media and issues management and internal communications. You will develop the systems and processes that support audience engagement is a critical role in the development and implementation of communications and engagement to increase accessibility awareness, understanding and capability across the organisation.
Reporting to the General Manager, Communications you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Develop and implement a multi-channel audience engagement strategy;
- Oversee the development and production of content and communication collateral that align to the organisation's strategic directions and organisational objective;
- Work with other relevant departments to coordinate the internal communications channels to service strategic communications and business needs;
- Build trusted business partnership with the divisional leadership team to provide valuable advice and insights from a communications and employee experience perspective;
- Translating complex business information into engaging communications for employees.
The skills and experience you will need to demonstrate include:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, business, or related field;
- Proven success in a similar communications position, ideally overseeing a small team;
- Knowledge of contemporary frameworks and methodologies to develop effective internal change communication strategies;
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to advocate and influence to achieve desires outcomes;
- Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and communications and engagement tasks to ensure milestones are achieved and deadlines met;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
