Help shape the future of corrections through strategic communication. Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking a talented and experienced Communication Lead to support transformational reform across the Community Corrections and Specialist Operations (CCSO) division. This is a unique opportunity to lead strategic communication efforts that directly contribute to safer communities and improved outcomes for offenders under supervision.

- Collaborate with project teams, business units, and stakeholders to ensure consistent, clear, and engaging messaging.
- Translate complex reform initiatives into accessible, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
- Support business readiness and change resilience through targeted engagement strategies.
- Advise senior leaders on communication risks, opportunities, and progress.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the PMO and broader CCSO division.
About You

- Proven experience in developing and delivering communication strategies within large-scale projects or programs.
- High-level knowledge of contemporary communication and engagement frameworks.
- Strong understanding of project management, change management, and business integration.

- Exceptional written communication skills, with experience producing a range of collateral from formal reports to digital content.
- Experience in justice or human services environments is highly regarded.
- Qualifications in communication, change management, project management, or human services are highly desirable.
Why Join Us?
