**Position Overview**
The Project Support Officer - Knowledge and Information's primary responsibility is to provide project support services within the Knowledge and Information team by building, developing and documenting organisational knowledge for a national process and procedure framework for Court's and Tribunal staff working in Family Law and General Federal law jurisdictions.
The position will work closely with both the Coordinator and the Project Officer - Knowledge and Information as well as the broader Court's and Tribunal Services team and requires a self-starter focused on content creation and business analysis to build a national knowledge base. The position is responsible for documenting existing process and procedure in both family and general federal law and identifying areas for process improvement and consistency in practice. The position will assist with establishing best practice knowledge sharing behaviours as well as generating content for a national process and procedure guide.
The Court has commenced a Wiki Replacement Project, which requires significant involvement and contribution from the Knowledge and Information team, including owning, building, managing and transforming the Wiki and accompanying knowledge assets.
**Duties**
- Assist with the development, review, and update of National process and procedure guidelines and Wiki content.
- Assist with development and standardisation of response-templates, style guides and the review, maintenance and update of exist content.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation with key stakeholder groups to improve and expand documentation and standardisation of nation process and procedure.
- Assist with the review of Wiki content both proactively and reactively, to ensure style guidelines are continuously met.
- Assist with capture, analysis and reporting on data metrics to identify process issues and training needs.
- Assist with development and execution of training and induction programs in the understanding and use of knowledge management systems and tools.
- Assist with identification of new ways to optimise team performance, efficiency and compliance through knowledge sharing.
- The creation and storage of business templates and guidelines for inclusion in a national knowledge base.
**Selection Criteria**
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and a capacity to perform effectively under pressure in a high volume environment;
- Liaise with other areas of the courts to facilitate planning, content creation, curation and sharing of organisational knowledge;
- Ability to propose and identify initiatives in relation to knowledge management and content, and train and develop others on the use of knowledge management tools and/or established process and procedures.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, be adaptable, have strong initiative and sound problem solving, including the ability to interpret and analyse operational data to make evidence-based decisions.
- Have a high degree of curiosity to contribute to the strategic direction of Court Operations, and assist with identifying opportunities for building Court staff capability and undertaking continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience using and updating knowledge management software is highly desirable.
