This is your opportunity to work with some of Australia's largest organisations in various industries including government agencies and corporate organisations.OverviewThe role provides Critical Incident Response Services (including emergency response, critical incidents, planned support service, disaster response and incident support forums) using the primary intervention models of Psychological First Aid, stepped care and referral pathways, to support Converge International's customers.
This support is required during an incident or organisational change, and will involve informing the organisations of themes, recommendations, or any internal (customer) process improvements.
This role may also include the delivery of Employee Counselling and Training and Consulting Services.We are seeking contractors who are experienced registered Psychologists and Social Workers to provide critical incident and crisis counselling support to our client organisations.
Using Psychological First Aid (PFA) and other trauma-specific interventions and approaches to support individuals and their organisations through providing one-on-one trauma support and group sessions.ResponsibilitiesProvide Critical Incident Response Services (emergency response, critical incidents, planned support service, disaster response and incident support forums)Use Psychological First Aid (PFA), stepped care and referral pathways to support clientsSupport organisations during incidents or organisational change, including identifying themes, making recommendations, and supporting internal process improvementsDeliver Employee Counselling, Training and Consulting Services as requiredProvide one-on-one trauma support and group sessions with clientsQualificationsExperience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counsellingMinimum 3 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy experienceAbility to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution-focused advicePassion to help people and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management, report writing skills, and willingness to travel to client sites for trauma response workExperience delivering People Assist services (EAP, RRS)High level negotiation and facilitation skillsAbility to work collaboratively with all stakeholdersTrained in Psychological First Aid and registered with the appropriate professional bodyCurrent driver's licence and access to a vehicleWhy Join Converge?
