Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced registered Psychologists and Social Workers to provide critical incident and crisis counselling support.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work with some of Australia's largest organisations in various industries. As a Senior Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for providing Critical Incident Response Services using Psychological First Aid (PFA) and other trauma-specific interventions to support individuals and their organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Critical Incident Response Services including emergency response, critical incidents, planned support service, disaster response and incident support forums.
  • Use Psychological First Aid (PFA), stepped care and referral pathways to support clients.
  • Support organisations during incidents or organisational change including identifying themes, making recommendations, and supporting internal process improvements.
  • Deliver Employee Counselling, Training and Consulting Services as required.
  • Provide one-on-one trauma support and group sessions with clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counselling.
  • Minimum 3 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy experience.
  • Ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution-focused advice.
  • Passion to help people and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management, report writing skills, and willingness to travel to client sites for trauma response work.
