The Opportunity
Join Us as a Change Coordinator & Trainer - 12-Month Max-Term Opportunity
We're looking for a dynamic and proactive Change Coordinator and Trainer to join our team on a 12-month max-term contract. Reporting to the Project Lighthouse Customer Operations Mission Lead, this role can be based in either our Melbourne or Perth office.
In this pivotal position, you'll be instrumental in driving successful change across operational business units. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting change impact assessments
- Developing and executing change management plans and internal communications
- Creating training materials as needed
- Supporting leaders and managers through organisational change initiatives

You'll work closely with the Project Communications and Change Management Lead, the Customer Operations Mission team, and senior operational leaders to ensure change management activities are seamlessly integrated into the broader project strategy.
**Flexible Work Options**:
This role offers flexibility, including the option to work part-time (4 days per week), with hours aligned to Eastern States business hours.
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day
This role sits within the broader Project Lighthouse initiative and is focused on operationalising change within customer-facing business units. While a dedicated Change Management team is responsible for high-level planning, impact assessments, and strategy development, this role plays a critical part in bringing that change to life on the ground.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role that bridges the gap between strategic change planning and real-world execution—ensuring that change is not only introduced but embraced and sustained.
As a Change Coordinator and Trainer, your daily responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive change analysis - including stakeholder assessments, change impact evaluations, gap analyses, and training needs assessments across people, processes, and systems.
- Identifying and mitigating risks - anticipating resistance and developing targeted strategies to address people-side risks.
- Assessing readiness - performing readiness assessments, analysing results, and presenting actionable insights.
- Collaborating with key teams - working closely with the Customer Operations Mission Team and the Project Lighthouse Communications & Change Manager to embed operational change activities into the broader project plan.
- Engaging operational stakeholders - co-developing tailored change and implementation plans for specific business units.
- Supporting communication efforts - assisting in the creation and distribution of internal communications, updates, and engagement materials.
- Tracking change adoption - implementing systems to monitor adoption, utilisation, and the success of change initiatives.
- Coordinating reporting - compiling and consolidating project information for timely and cohesive reporting.
- Maintaining change documentation - managing key change artifacts such as stakeholder maps, readiness assessments, communication trackers, and change plans.
- Empowering change champions - providing tools, messaging, and guidance to support leaders and change advocates.
- Delivering training support - coordinating and facilitating training sessions and plans as needed.
- Creating learning resources - developing quick reference guides, how-to content, and other user-friendly learning tools.

What You'll Bring to the Role
**To thrive in this role, you'll bring**:

- Proven experience as a Change Analyst or Change Coordinator within complex, enterprise-level environments.
- Industry knowledge in telecommunications (highly regarded but not essential).
- Background in transformation or integration projects, with the ability to navigate change in dynamic settings.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work proactively and collaboratively across diverse teams—both remotely and in person.
- Experience in training support or workshop facilitation (desirable).
- Confident communication and negotiation abilities, enabling you to influence and drive positive outcomes across all levels of the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and time management skills.
- A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What We Offer
Working at Vocus will give you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to do extraordinary work. You will enjoy:

- Diverse and dynamic teams with a supportive and inclusive culture.
- Supportive career development plans with comprehensive ongoing t
