**Purpose of Position**

This position provides for transactional processing and effective management of the revenue, billing, receipting and resident liability functions of SCC. The role is based out of our Epping office in NSW.

The Revenue and Billing Officer is responsible and accountable for completing allocated tasks in an accurate and timely manner, which allows quality service to our internal and external stakeholders.

The position is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices.

**Main Activities**:
**Revenue & Billing Functions**:

- Handle incoming contracts, loading data in Epicor & Nera and sending to customers.
- Contacting Facility and CST for missing data and documents at Admissions.
- Contact delegated list of customers for overdue invoices.
- Fortnightly Billing and DD process.
- Assist with distribution of monthly statements.
- Respond to all general incoming queries and requests received in Billing mailbox.
- Attend to general R&B incoming phone calls.

**Administration**
- Set up and maintaining residents' personal details in the Finance system.
- Maintain the resident's database, including updating details and systematic data cleansing activities to ensure relevant databases are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with contract management and contractual documentation.
- Assist the Revenue and Billing team with debt collection correspondence and fee rejections.
- Distribute disclosure statements and monthly statements as directed.
- Scanning, photocopying, filing and archiving of finance related documents.
- Assist the Revenue and Billing Manager and Revenue and Billing Team with ad-hoc duties as required.
- Regular reception relief including ad-hoc assistance to Reception as required.

**Essential**
- Minimum of two years in a finance office environment;
- Demonstrated understanding of accounts receivable processes;
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel
- High level of computer literacy using a diversity of modern accounting and related software packages. (Epicor v9 currently in use)
- Intermediate level skills in MS Office (Outlook, MS Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong networking and stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to maintain task focus

- Commitment to client and staff confidentiality and privacy;

**Desirable**
- Demonstrated competencies in and an understanding of the Health, Aged Care or Not-for-Profit Sectors
