An exciting opportunity is now available to become part of the Revenue Services Team as a Revenue Officer, supporting accurate and timely billing aligned with internal procedures and performance targets.
About the Role
Reporting to the Revenue Manager, you'll be a vital contributor to the daily operations of the Revenue Services Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform a range of accounts receivable duties including receipting payments, managing pre-payments, setting up payment plans, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Oversee daily banking operations and reconcile transactions against audit and financial reports
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and non-payments in collaboration with internal teams
- Communicate with external bodies to follow up on outstanding accounts
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes by preparing reconciliations and reports
- Assist with debt recovery efforts and monitor aged receivables to ensure timely collection
- Maintain compliance with billing policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the revenue cycle
