**Full Time Permanent Term Position**
**Band 4 - Salary Range $72,119 to $76,460 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO**
**Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.**
**The Opportunity**
Melton City Council is seeking a Business Support Officer, the Operations department delivers several high-profile services for our community, including parks and tree maintenance, waste collection, the Melton Recycling Facility, cleaning and graffiti removal, infrastructure maintenance and emergency management.
Reporting to and supporting the Manager Operations, the Business Support Officer provides critical administrative and operational support across a range of business units and actively liaises with our community, staff and contractors to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinating correspondence, including responses to customer and Councillor enquiries.
- Scheduling, developing agendas and minuting meetings.
- Managing others' calendars.
- Processing payments.
- Day to day administrative support across the Operations department.

**About you**
**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Certificate 3 in Business Administration or higher or other post trade or post-secondary qualification below diploma or degree with knowledge and skills gained through 'on the job' training commensurate with the requirements of this role.
- Experience working in and supporting multi-disciplinary teams to achieve great outcomes.
- Proven administrative skills, including the ability to coordinate correspondence, meetings, minutes, diaries and payments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own work activities and respond to ongoing customer requests.
- Current valid Victorian drivers' licence.
