**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are looking for a bright, dynamic individual to join our small and busy team in Melbourne, Australia in the role of Supply Chain Coordinator. Your daily duties will include processing orders, packing / dispatching orders for ecommerce, managing customer service and rectifying any issues which may occur.
This role will work closely with operations, sales, finance, and marketing in managing the day to operational requirements of the Australian business. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who is starting out in supply chain and is keen to learn the ropes in a small business while getting exposure to how a global business operates.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
As this role might suit someone starting out their Supply Chain journey, and putting their transferable skills to good use, we know there will be a lot of learning on the job. But that's what we want. Sure, for this role, we have duties below, but don't feel you're limited to them, nor feel you'll be covering them all off from day one. But let's look at some of the key areas you'll be getting stuck in to:
**Stock Control**
- Working efficiently with 3rd party warehousing to manage inventory / warehousing and logistics daily
- Assisting in managing stock enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting in Coordinating stock takes and ensure inventory system is always up to date
- Assisting in managing EOM process
- Complete Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting
**Order Fulfilment**
- Coordinating and processing daily orders including EDI orders for major customers.
- Organising and manage deliveries for local and export customers
- Releasing orders whilst managing stock allocation.
- Reporting on stock replenishment & order fulfilment
- Providing clear & concise communication to customers around availability/delivery dates/backorders
- Ensuring correct batches are dispatched as per Inventory Manager's inventory plan and direction
- Completing daily tasks such as invoicing customers on delivery date, updating SOH, etc.
**Customer Service**
- Presenting Customer Service excellence by exhibiting and instilling a "customer first" mindset.
- Building strong relationships with all supply chain partners and customer contacts.
- Ensuring customer master data is accurately maintained
- Effectively communicating expected delivery time lines with customers and clients.
- Communicating risks with Australian team when raised by customers
- Working with UK team around reporting monthly customer service results
**E-commerce Order Management**
- Inventory management including unpacking supplier orders, restocking
- and stock rotation.
- Picking and packing e-commerce web-shop orders.
- Unpacking and processing returns from customers.
- Informing customers of tracking details
- Working with Global Ecommerce Manager concerning forecasting
- Working with Marketing Manager around setting e-commerce experience
**Continuous Improvement**
- Working with management team in highlighting opportunities in customer service (both B2B and B2C).
- Working with the Head of Operations in improving B2B processes through integrations and documenting best practice.
- Working with the Head of Operations to develop and identify opportunities for process improvements
**ABOUT YOUR TEAM**:
Reporting into Oscar, our Head of Operations for APAC, you will be a key part of a small but tight team who are responsible for the supply chain and operations for the APAC market. This role will be key in supporting the execution of the local supply and operations strategy.
The operations team cross functionally works with sales, marketing and sales ensuring they have everything they need to do their jobs better than any of our competitors.
