Essential Criteria
An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education.
Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner
Demonstrated expertise as a specialist language teacher
Appropriate qualifications.
A demonstrated capacity to align practice with a whole-school Positive Behaviour for Learning model of student support.
An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge.
An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy.
An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture.
Willingness to participate in staff professional development in partnership with the College.
Willingness to contribute to the KLA team in their understanding of relevant curriculum and its application to the College.
Willingness to take on co-curricular activities.
Capacity to teach Religious Education (RE) is also an advantage.
Must hold a relevant Working with Children registration and Teaching Accreditation
Must have completed relevant Education/Teaching tertiary qualification
Must meet the requirements to teach Religious Education according to Work, Teach and Lead Policy
