Your New Role

Essential Criteria
  • An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner
  • Demonstrated expertise as a specialist language teacher
  • Appropriate qualifications.
  • A demonstrated capacity to align practice with a whole-school Positive Behaviour for Learning model of student support.
  • An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge.
  • An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy.
  • An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture.
  • Willingness to participate in staff professional development in partnership with the College.
  • Willingness to contribute to the KLA team in their understanding of relevant curriculum and its application to the College.
  • Willingness to take on co-curricular activities.
  • Capacity to teach Religious Education (RE) is also an advantage.
  • Must hold a relevant Working with Children registration and Teaching Accreditation
  • Must have completed relevant Education/Teaching tertiary qualification
  • Must meet the requirements to teach Religious Education according to Work, Teach and Lead Policy
