**The Opportunity**:
KBR is seeking an experienced **Cost Estimation Specialist / Modeller** to support a Defence project.

**This is a**full-time fixed term position** for six (6) months, based in Canberra. Interstate applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain cost models to support tender development and evaluation.
- Conduct financial analysis of bid responses to assess cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Provide expert advice on pricing strategies, financial risk assessments, and cost estimations.
- Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to ensure financial considerations align with project requirements.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**
- Proven experience in cost modelling, financial analysis, or pricing strategy within the Defence sector.
- Strong understanding of Defence procurement financial evaluation processes.
- Proficiency in financial modelling tools and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to interpret complex financial and contractual data to support decision-making.
- An active NV1 security clearance (essential).
